2025 RMO Second Round Intensive Training Schedule

⏰ Schedule:

  • 19 April, 26 April, 3 May (Every Saturday)
  • Three sessions every Saturday

📍 Mode of Instruction:

  • In-person: Think Academy @ Grantral Mall (Tai Seng)
  • Online: Livestream (with playback)

🎯 Course Structure:

  • 3 sessions focusing on different skills

⏰ Session Timings and Content:

9:30–12:00

Mock Test + In-depth Review: RMO Round 2 from the past 3 years + SMO Junior Questions

13:30–16:00

Core Concept Mastery: Skills Beyond the RMO Round 1 + Secondary School Math Olympiad Bridging Topics

16:30–19:00

Predicted Test Questions + Review: Mock Paper developed in line with trends and forecast

  • Geometry (Similar Triangles / Pythagora’s Theorem in Circles)
  • Combinatorics (Number Theory Counting / Complex Recurrence)

26 April

  • Number Theory (Fermat-Euler Theorem / Modular Equations)
  • Speed & Distance (Proportional Reasoning / Diagrammatic Methods)

3 May

  • Calculation (Complex Sequences / Fraction Operations)
  • Algebra (Quadratic Equations / Factorization)

💡 Special Notes

Enrollment Recommendation:

  • Strongly recommended for P5/P6 students who have achieved HD (High Distinction)
  • Primary 4 students who have achieved HD can consider joining the class

Difficulty Benchmark:

  • All content designed according to the Open Round standard
  • First 7 questions from the Open Round are the same as the Junior Round. Remaining questions are similar in difficulty level.
